George Bright Hamilton served as Georgia State Treasurer from 1933 to 1962.
Bill Hamrick papers
The legislative papers of Bill Hamrick, Georgia State Senator from 2000-2012, who represented District 30, which is comprised of sections of Carroll, Douglas, and Paulding counties. Hamrick currently serves as a Superior Judge in the Coweta Judicial Circuit.
Moses Gresham Herrin letter
An original letter sent to Mrs. Melindah J. Boyd Groce from Moses Gresham Herrin in Columbus, Mississippi to inform her that her husband, Confederate soldier Lewis Dudley Groce, had died in the Civil War in 1862.
Irvine S. Ingram papers
Public and private papers of the second principal of the Fourth District Agricultural and Mechanical School in Georgia, who then became the first president of West Georgia College. His term as the first president of West Georgia College lasted from 1933-1960.
Lewis H. Larson papers
Lewis H. Larson Jr. was professor of anthropology at the University of West Georgia and state archaeologist for Georgia, a post he held 1972-1998. He was director of UWG's Waring Archaeological Laboratory from 1988 until his retirement in 1998.
